insegna letteratura italiana contemporanea all’Università di Pisa. Precedentemente ha lavorato alla Freie Universität Berlin come Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow in letterature comparate (2011-2013), alla University of Edinburgh come Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow (2015-2017) e alla Scuola Normale Superiore (2017-2019). Tra i suoi principali interessi di ricerca l’opera di Carlo Emilio Gadda, il modernismo italiano ed europeo, le te-orie e le pratiche del tragico da Aristotele all’età moderna, la narrativa contemporanea, la cultura della prima guer-ra mondiale, la storia e le rappresentazioni della lettura.
teaches contemporary Italian literature at the University of Pisa. Previously she worked at Freie Universität Berlin as an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow in comparative literature (2011-2013), at the University of Edinburgh as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow (2015-2017) and at the Scuola Normale Superiore (2017-2019). Among her research interests are Carlo Emilio Gadda’s work, Italian and European Modernism, theo-ries and practices of the tragic from Aristotle to the modern age, contemporary fiction, the culture of the First World War and the history and representations of reading and readers.
